NorthRidge has moved into the engineered design of structural steal pilings. Basically, steel piles are a big screw, made of steel with a helical flange that not only helps to insert the pile, but also helps secure it into the ground. By using a excavator with special attachments, a drill can enter the ground while measuring the load bearing capacity of the soil. This ensures precisely addressing the foundation engineering requirements right at the time of installation
These pilings can be used in a wide variety of load bearing capacities, ranging from decks, fences, and anchors. Most structures that don't require a full basement can use pilings, making them extremely versatile.
NorthRidge has its own in house engineering team that designs and test these pilings to ensure optimum structural capacity of a given structure.
